Jammz - Focussed
JAMMZ - 'Focussed' [Director's Cut]
Jammz breaks-through the underground again with punishing music video for second album single "Focussed"
Witness our director-and-director collaboration where we paired his potent musical style with my high-impact video production

We shot this one underneath a famous railway-arch in Waterloo ; to stylistically emulate the cinematic swinging-light train sequences from the silver-screen of yesteryear....
Stylistically Jammz set the tone for our collaboration with a video treatment citing lots of classic filmaking styles that he admired, and we worked together to create something meaningful and high-impact.
Colour-wise, he wanted to play with the two forbidden colours (Red & Blue) which are typically clashing
As an outward-facing musician ; Jammz has always impressed his audience with honest writing and meaningful lyrics, and he didn't disappoint with this latest album.
Some truths are hard to say, but Jammz still says them.
This is why I admire about his artistic output.
ARTIST vs ARTIST
Our collaboration has been building a history since we first met at Mode FM in 2015....
DJ Spooky Bizzle invited both of us, including Pauly Papers & Mic Ty, to a special 'Graveyard Shift' set at Mode FM in Ponders End.
I still have the footage from the first times i met Jammz, as well as the rest of the many times we met : at Shemzy's with Mic Ty, at his headline live show, at music video shoots, and at various Mode FM events throughout the years.
If you haven't already ; make sure you check out our other last music video, the lead single from album 'No Remorse' (link below)

In case you weren't aware.... alongside Jammz's upfront lyricism and heavyweight music production, he has recently 'swerved' into various other creative outputs, with great success.
I am aware of his prominent graphic design work, and also script-writing for a charity that we are both synonymous with.
---
'The Big House' is a fantastic charity we both support for care-leavers and ex-convicts in the UK ; and they give new acting opportunities to those who wish to make positive changes in their life.
The productions always have a moral & cultural significance, and i will continue to support 'The Big House' on all their endeavours in the future. I will interview Jammz on what he has done recently, so everyone is up to date!
Jammz most recently wrote a script that followed his time throughout 2015 - 2020 ; where he rose through the underground. I am yet to see this performance, but would love to see it if it gets re-commissioned.
A little-known fact is that Jammz somewhat influenced the designs of my personal VELODY.NET branding.
I enjoyed his clean font, simple presentation & bold stylisation of his own promotional posters
His signature white-on-black branding is quite timeless, and at the time i was keen to design myself a new timeless video logo & branding that i would be able to use for the rest of my life....
---
In 2015, when i saw Mic Ty & Jammz working together to burn-down the local radio circuit, i aspired quite heavily to work with Jammz, and collaborate on visuals together in the future. I worked closely with his partner-in-crime Mic Ty for a long period, making cool content, hoping to later also collaborate with Jammz.
There were a number of occasions where in 2015 & 2016 where i thought we wmight work closely together, but we never got it going....
I finally filmed his album launch-party for 'Warrior', among other things, hoping that i might be able to get his 'hero shot'. After the event, i quickly edited and sent Jammz my photos, but when it came to the publicity, he chose stronger photos from another photographer to lead his PR campaign.
Whilst i preferred my shots, i understood why he chose the other photos for his press run, because they were slightly sharper than mine, but lacking the character of mine....
