London’s alternative grime movement wouldn't be complete without acknowledging its visual heroes....
To anchor the project's raw aesthetic Jammz drafted in UK photographic legend 'Rantaman' (aka Dwaynre Bickersteth to support me & Jammz on location ; handling the photography for album artwork and capturing visceral BTS of us that he has become known for.
His presence injected a distinct gritty street-level perspective, literally, ensuring that the project captured the true essence of the artistic process from London's gritty street..
I reflected his involvement in the finished video, featuring BTS shots of him in a few of the sequences, and dedicating a named credit at the end of the Director's Cut.
