London’s alternative grime movement wouldn't be complete without acknowledging its visual heroes....
To anchor this project's raw Grime aesthetic Jammz drafted in UK photographic legend 'Rantaman' (aka Rants aka Dwayne Bickersteth) to support me & Jammz on location ; handling the photography for album artwork and capturing atmospheric BTS of us that he has become well-known for.
Rants's presence injected a distinct gritty street-level perspective, literally, ensuring that the project captured the true essence of the artistic process from London's gritty street..
I honoured his involvement in the finished video with BTS shots including him in a few of the sequences, and a dedicated named credit near the end of the Director's Cut.
